George and Amal Clooney attend New York political-comedy reading
George and Amal Clooney attended a performance at New York’s Seaview Studio where the actor took part in a reading of the political comedy Smear!
Amal Clooney wore a camel suede Gucci coat over an ivory dress with black suede boots, while George Clooney wore a navy sweater and suit. The couple were photographed holding hands and kissing outside the event.
The appearance followed the couple’s co-hosting of the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s Albies ceremony in London in October. The annual event recognises people working in human rights and is named for South African anti-apartheid jurist Albie Sachs.
The Clooneys have been married for 12 years and have nine-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella.
