Volkswacht Bodensee - Golf star Lydia Ko to stick to fairways over catwalks

The Paris Olympics gold medallist and LPGA Hall of Famer was featured as one of the inspirational women across various industries who shared their stories of work and success.

Speaking ahead of this week's HSBC Women's World Championship in Singapore, the Seoul-born New Zealander said: "I had a great time being on a fashion magazine outside of golf clothes.

"But modelling is probably not what I'll do in the near future.

"There are countless hours they (models) put in to do the perfect walk or shot or have their signature look.

"I'm definitely not going to be walking down the hotel hallway trying to see what my walk is going to be like."

The 27-year-old three-time major champion had toyed with plans to retire when she is 30, but admits it is premature to make any decision now.

"I'm just trying to honestly take it day by day. That's a very down-the-road question, but 30 is a long way," said Ko.

"My schedule has changed. I've gone from thinking I was going to play 10 to 15 events this year to now playing over 20."

Ko launched her 2025 LPGA Tour season with a sixth-placed finish at the Tournament of Champions in Orlando and followed that up with a tied-48th result at the Founders Cup, also in Florida.
