Glasner coy over Palace pursuit of Spurs striker Johnson
Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner gave little away Wednesday regarding his club's pursuit of Tottenham forward Brennan Johnson.
Palace and Spurs reportedly reached an agreement on Tuesday over a £35 million ($47 million) fee for Johnson, but the Wales international has yet to decide on his future
Bournemouth are also said to be interested in a January transfer window move for the 24-year-old.
Asked about Johnson before Thursday's visit of Fulham, Glasner told a press conference: "Let's see what's happening.
"Tomorrow starts the next crazy month in football and I don't know. I have experienced so many different situations that you thought the player is already here and then he is not here, or you thought the player would definitely stay and then he leaves.
"The next 31 days will be everything is possible like always and everything I say today might be wrong in two days and I think most of what I say today will definitely be wrong by the end of the transfer window because I don't know.
"That is why I don't really care about it and especially why I don't want to talk about it in public."
Johnson was Spurs' leading scorer in the 2024/25 season and struck the winner in the club's Europa League final triumph over Manchester United in Bilbao, but has struggled for game-time under Thomas Frank this term.
