Inexperienced Gordon recalled by Australia coach Schmidt
Inexperienced fly-half Carter Gordon was one of five changes made by Australia coach Joe Schmidt on Thursday for this weekend's Autumn Nations Series game with France in Paris.
Gordon, 24, is line for just his 10th Test appearance as he replaces James O'Connor from last weekend's defeat to Ireland.
Schmidt's Wallabies are looking to avoid a 10th loss of the year on Saturday, which would be their largest ever number of defeats in a calendar year.
In the other changes, winger Dylan Pietsch replaces Filipo Daugunu and lock Nick Frost is in for Rob Valetini.
In the front row, prop Taniela Tupou takes the place of Allan Alaalatoa while hooker Billy Pollard stands in for Matt Faessler.
Prop Angus Bell and inside centre Len Ikitau are set to win their 50th Test caps.
Australia (15-1)
